Diba belongs to a small university town Aligarh in India which is situated approximately 3 hours from New Delhi,the capital of India.Diba received a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University(AMU),India in 2001 .She started her Master's in Spring 2003 and received a M.S. in Electrical Engineering degree from George Washington University(GWU) ,Washington DC,USA in Spring 2005.After receiving the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Diba started her PhD in Fall 2005 with specialization in statistical signal processing at George Mason University,Fairfax,VA. Diba is a Research Assistant at GMU since Fall2005 and her advisor is Prof. Kristine Bell.Since joining GMU her research work involves implementing Bayesian Multiple Target tracking techniques for target tracking.
