Professor Bell Wins Outstanding Alumnus Award

Kristine L. Bell

Professor Kristine Bell has been named the 2009 Outstanding Alumnus of the Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering. She will receive the award at the annual Awards Banquet on April 25. Professor Bell received her Ph.D. in Information Technology in 1995 and is now Associate Professor of Statistics. Her research interests are in statistical signal processing and time series, and she is a co-author of a recent book. She is rated highly as both a teacher and advisor, and has supervised numerous Ph.D. theses.

Her colleagues in the Department of Statistics would like to take this opportunity to congratulate her on this outstanding achievement, and to thank her for her service to the Department and to George Mason University.
