Rosenberger Elected IMS Fellow
Professor Bill Rosenberger has been elected Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. Fellowship recognizes important research contributions in probability and mathematical statistics. The award will be presented at the Joint Statistical Meetings in Miami at a ceremony on August 1.
The citation reads:
"For major contributions in sequential analysis and clinical trials, involving rigorous treatment of adaptive randomization and response-adaptive design and including development of a framework for optimal allocations, work that has been accepted by practitioners as the standard in the field."
